    sorry for double posting.

    BUT

i disagree with that one. That translator is only good for lulz when you translate smells like teen spirit lyrics into japanese and then back to english and find them completely different

    A very nice one.

    http://openpandora.blogspot.com/

Open Pandora allows one to use Pandora without having a browser open. You can still upvote and downvote items and add more variety to your stations. It's very useful small application.

    With the online radio trend,

    http://www.last.fm/

Last FM is another online radio source that can help you find your similar music tastes. You can also download an application that follows your media players to see what music you play and it'll start to build up suggestions based off of that as well. That is very useful.

Hell yes! This is how I've learned all I can play on guitar thus far!

And since grego just mentioned Last.FM and Pandora in the same post, here's a fun one:

    http://pandorafm.real-ity.com/

Basically, it's a hybrid app that records the songs you listen to on Pandora onto your Last.FM account. Ingenious.

    http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

If you need to find out the time in another country. You can also convert time by date and time to help you figure out what time it will be on a particular day. Very useful there.

Yay, thanks. This is why I love that this thread exists. Useful!!!

I'm going to start this post off by saying if these are considered spam please remove them immediately as i'm not trying to spam, I consider them both extremely helpful sites which is the only reason why I post them here. I come to this forum regularly so I'm not the usual sign up once, spam and leave, this is an honest recommendation.

    http://www.treasuretrooper.com/
If you have any free time on your hands and looking to make a few bucks over time, I recommend this site. You can fill out surveys worth 50cents to a buck each or if you get a 50 dollar visa card you can do some of the pay offers where you pay like 4 buck but earn 10 or so. It's all based on online advertising and all. I kind of stopped using it a while ago but I got two 50 dollar checks from them, just don't expect to make a lot right up front.

    http://swagbucks.com/
Basically you use their search engine and earn points which are redeemable for prizes. You can also use the shopping feature to earn points on purchases from a few stores, redeem an old cellphone for points, or invite friends to earn referral points. I know there is a lot of sites online which do this and a lot of them end up as scams but I've been a member for over a year and I've claimed a PSP, 120 bucks in iTunes, and almost 200 bucks in amazon. Only problem is some of the prizes can no be claimed out of the US but only some. Basically if you use google, you can earn points for it. If you are interested and want to sign up you could either just sign up or if you PM me I will give you my referall link which will help me earn points, but I won't post it here so I don't spam.

They are useful to me anyways considering I've really profited off both of em.

    http://popurls.com/

Great news aggregator that tracks many popular sites and news sources. Good homepage or just a good site to visit regularly to find a variety of good information.

    http://www.netvibes.com

I use Google's iGoogle front page, but if you do not like that, Net Vibes provides another solid alternative. In some areas it does better and has slightly more color customization.

I basically use this all the time when I don't have the time to read my SW books.

I've been using it for quite a while, love it.

Did you click the link? It's not the actual Star Wars wiki. It's a wiki entirely in the Wookiee language.
