I've only heard They're Only Chasing Safety by Underoath. Some parts get a bit preachy, but it was pretty good, i thought. Not that this has anything to do with the thread or what I've previously said.
Is Emmure Deathcore? I think they're pretty damn awesome... (I had the song: "When keeping it real goes wrong" in mind) And as for BMTH...they're just one of those hit or miss bands, imo.
Haha, I bet there's a dozen bands I like that you dislike too... These guys are really pushing it, though.
Nah, Old Underoath was somewhat Deathcore, as you probably know. So it was meant to be posted here I'm sure.
That's the beauty of opinions, I guess. If anything I was waiting for you to say something more...up front. ---------------------------- Seinfeld (Chris?): yeah, I'd agree with Will. Emmure could be considered deathcore. I can see where you're coming from with regards to BMTH being hit-and-miss. I'm just of the opinion that Count Your Blessings is more "hit" with Suicide Season being more "miss".
Oh, it just seemed so random, I thought he was in the wrong thread. Yeah, I'd consider some of their old stuff deathcore.
i just discovered them yesterday through myspace and started to love them. fuck any looks or superficial stuff like that. I'm digging "suicide season" right now and just am pleased to have found a band with good, fast-paced riffs and a really pissed singer .
