New user title/color/banner idea.

I don't agree with calling the new group "Legends," because, as Derek said, there'd be loads of people who'd complain about the people who became "Legends."

I think adding a new group at 10 or 15 thousand posts would be a good idea, though, and that group could be called "Ultramembers" or something.

 

Ultra, for some reason, reminds me of this. They're always called Ultra this, Ultra that.

See, and all of this could've been avoided, but it was seriously because of me and my damn 20K post celebration thread that he had to do that. Bastard.

 

What? Staff really think they need to justify to someone why a certain person is or isn't a "Legend"? Perhaps I've been too accustomed to the attitude that staff at certain unnameable forums carry, but if a staff member thinks that someone should be awarded a title, then so be it. They shouldn't have to deal with someone breathing down their neck just because they don't feel the same way because they dislike the person for whatever reason. The whiners are just whining because they're jealous. Dish out warnings for being stupid, and they'll shut up eventually. Problem solved.

"Legend" status shouldn't be given because of post-count, or specific length of time on the site, but because of contributions and worth to the forums/site. If someone's really helpful around the site/forums, or is just one of those people that make the forums what they are, then they should be awarded it. I mean, why else should it be awarded?

If Todd really posted 1mil posts, then he'd definitely not have a life, considering how I always wonder about all the posts I've made.
