Since I'm lazy and haven't read anything in this thread in quite a while, no tour dates have been announced, right?
Everyone in North America who can make it to one of these shows should take advantage, otherwise I will hate them forever/until the same lineup comes here.
Correct. Everytime the guys rehearse I guess they add more songs to the setlist, so this is what they have so far
In my opinion they should just drop FOB off that bill and either get someone better or add more songs to the set. I think it'd be awesome if they covered some plus-44 songs. maybe 1 AvA song, they were kinda cool to vibe to at warped but I wouldn't want to sit through more then 1. I'm interested to see the venue selections for this tour. I honestly can't picture blink playing in a big amp. I just think a pop up stage in a field would suit them so much better... from my experience these shows have a lot more energy as fans can dance around, as opposed to being on concrete surrounded by seats or wayy far away on a lawn. But I'm sure it will be in an amp and I will have to deal
According to NBC’s broadcast schedule, blink-182 will be on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Monday May, 18 and Tuesday May, 19: Although on the Monday they are listed as Blind-182. (Probably a typo) A poster from 182Online posted this "I called the number for tickets and the guy told me blink will be the "musical guest" which means they will be performing, he also said blink would be taping everything on monday but it will air on monday and tuesday...different songs." Also, It is RUMOURED that Blink will be a surprise act at KROQ's Weenie Roast on Saturday as well, because they are being Interviewed in the morning on Monday and.. 1:30pm Big B 2:00pm Anberlin 2:30pm Asher Roth 3:00pm Hollywood Undead 3:30pm White Lies 4:00pm Cage the Elephant 4:30pm The Airborne Toxic Event 5:00pm Silversun Pickups 5:40pm Rancid 6:20pm Yeah Yeah Yeahs 7:00pm Jimmy Eat World 7:50pm Kings of Leon 8:40pm Weezer 9:30pm TRV$DJ-AM 9:30 seems early for a headliner according to some and Mark and Tom could easily walk out and begin playing as Blink.
Will the KROQ thing be broadcasted? Also, monday sounds like a good day for music. I hope blink play a new song.
Anyone know if both Fall Out Boy and Weezer are supporting on ALL of the dates or is it like Green Day's upcoming tour with having the supporting artists being divided up among the dates? And I really hope they are not playing amphitheaters. I cannot stand amphitheaters.
THIS JUST IN..I am the official Blink news anchor of this forum. Anywhoooo We started talking about bands to tour with and Weezer was actually one of the first ones that came up,” Hoppus tells Rolling Stone. “They wanted to do the tour, and so did Fall Out Boy. It worked out perfectly.” But fans hoping to catch all three acts together on the tour, which begins July 24th, may be out of luck: Fall Out Boy are on board for two-thirds of the dates and Weezer will play the other third. Dates for the tour, and which bands are opening in which cites, haven’t been announced at press time. This won’t be the first time members of Blink share the stage with Weezer and Fall Out Boy. Blink guitarist Tom DeLonge’s side project Angel & Airwaves toured with Weezer last year, while Hoppus and Blink drummer Travis Barker toured with Fall Out Boy when their side project, +44, opened FOB’s summer tour in 2007.
LOL. Funny how I asked that question and the answer gets announced. And damnit. Well, I hope whatever date is closest to me gets Fall Out Boy. *crosses fingers*
Since FOB are from Chicago (I don't know if Wentz and the rest of the gang still live there?) they could do the eastern most dates and Weezer could do the West coast ones.. Just an idea.
