Not everyone is going to like FOB being on this tour. If it's not your cup of tea, socialize outside the venue until their set is over and then go in for Blink. Problem solved, lol.

For me, I want FOB. I love Weezer but I'd prefer FOB since I listen to their music more.

And you're all the way at the back of the venue.

Oh yeah, forgot about that, lol. Well, if you love Blink enough, a fan will sit through ANYTHING. Some of the opening acts at various shows in the past of my favorite bands were horrid, but it makes up for it in the end when the band you came to see finally comes on and makes you forget about what you had to endure. Maybe look at it in that perspective? :)

I thought most venues assigned you a seat, though.

Yeah that's true. After all, I stood through Biffy Clyro just to see LP last year.

Not all by any means. Besides some would prefer the standing atmosphere.

There's usually two types of seating: general admission and then the actual seats. I don't know why anyone would want to sit down for a concert. Unless it's, like, Coldplay. :shifty:

Yeah, maybe I'm confused as to how the seating actually works. The concerts I've been to though, your seats are assigned to you.

I can understand some people wanting to avoid mosh pits though. I love moshing but you get a different perspective on it when you're given a concussion by someone when they elbow you in the temple.

GA is the way to go. There are times when I do want to avoid it though. I'm short and depending on what type of band I am seeing, I'd like to live.

This gets me so pumped for seeing them live, even though I would hate to be in a crowd as huge as this Summer Sonic Stadium sized crowd is.

But this is more like the amphitheater size I think?
    It's awesome as well

I generally go for standing tickets to shows but try to stand where people aren't going sick, I get annoyed with people knocking into me every few seconds... I'm there to see the bands, not some 15 year old jumping around like a twat.

With that said, both times I've seen blink I had seating tickets but that's because standing was sold out.

Blink-182 is playing a secret show tonight

    http://www.sidekick.com/dj.aspx

"The most social ever is hitting the scene and T-Mobile is in the mood to party. We're throwing a cross-country event on May 14th to celebrate the launch of the new 3G T-Mobile Sidekick LX and you're invited."

"Show your T-Mobile Sidekick and skip the line at one of our exclusive party locales around the country. Check out an exclusive performance with TRV$DJ-AM and a special surprise appearance LIVE via satellite from the star-studded LA launch event. It all goes down on May 14th."

Well, all over Twitter, people going to the launch party in Cali speak of Blink and soundcheck and everything.

Hopefully the stream will leak, because to see the stream you must be at one of the designated parties across the country.

OH MY GOD. I am speechless at all of this. The tour date I would be going to is the very last one in Atlantic City, lol. That's so far away though. Ah well. The opening acts, the Blink!...I can't take this!:lol:

Please give me FOB or TBS. PLEASE.

I can't stop watching the videos of the show, when I saw the shitty stream last night I was still freakin' out.

I'm most likely going to the Detroit or Indianapolis show.

The line up for the tour is amazing. I wonder how people are gonna reaction to Asher Roth and Chester French though.
