Okay, so Muse appears to be releasing the Resistance tracklist via twitter. Maybe. For the past few hours they've been periodically updating their twitter page with what appear to be numbered track names. They've only gotten up to #5 so far, but here's the tracklist that they've posted up to this point: 1. Uprising 2. Resistance 3. Undisclosed Desires 4. United States Of Eurasia (+Collateral Damage) Umm, okay. Seems that this is shaping up to be something of a concept album. I am very surprised that USoE is in the middle; I was certain that that was the symphonic monster. Maybe it's mid-album instead of at the end? Also, what the heck is collateral damage? I'll keep the thread updated as Muse release more track names.
More track names: 5. Guiding Light 6. Unnatural Selection 7. MK ULTRA They're veering into pretentious a little now.
8. I Belong To You (+Mon Coeur S'Ouvre A Ta Voix) 9. Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture) Interesting...
10. Exogenesis: Symphony Part II (Cross-Polination) To quote a post about this on another forum: this is "off the pretantious charts".
I see what people mean about some of the titles being pretentious, but in fairness their music has never exactly been the most humble.
Oh dang, how did I forget to update this? Last track: 11. Exogenesis: Symphony Part III (Redemption) Not really feeling these titles, but whatever. Apparently something big is happening on Zane Low's radio show on Monday, maybe new single premier?
Here's hoping. The titles are interesting but really they're only titles. Looking forward to this symphonic monster!
So, apparently something interesting will happen tomorrow on the Zane Low show, though it may just be speculation. Also, a Twitter Treasure Hunt will commence in a week or two.
Muse have started a multi-media game/treasure hunt. Go to the website, then click on the Ununites States Of Eurasia banner, then sign up.
Looks like there's some sort of USB tomorrow at "Fuse" in Paris? Do they have Fuse TV in Paris? Also, from the Muse twitter page: "To clarify!: Treasure hunt = United States Of Eurasia. First single = Uprising. Good luck on Paris and beyond..."
I think that's what it is but I'm not entirely sure. There's a little recording on the page. I wrote down the code but I have no idea what it is. I tried entering it into the key but it says it's incorrect. So, really, I've got no clue what's going on. Awesome.
From what I've gathered from Muse sites: The first fan to meet a man holding a copy of Zbigniew Brzezinski "The Grand Chess Board" book somewhere on Rue de Perche in Paris between 10 and 12 local time tomorrow and say the words "Bilderberg Group" will get a chance to meet the band, get free tickets to a show, and get the activation code for Station 1? And they have to post pictures of them with the band on Flickr to prove things. I think. Confusing but someone is going to be incredibly lucky tomorrow.
