I don't see anything forcing it to be "Worship" It's not like he is saying "Praise Jesus Christ" or something directly. It's just an epic song really.
At this point, hearing the full song for the first time, I think it's better than "The Kill", at least. If not the entire last album.
Leto, is if anything, an atheist. If you listen to songs like Saviour, he is clearly against religion.
Well even this song is obviously not too fond on religion, either, it's just the way it flows during the verses, mostly. The chorus isn't very worship-like. But I have faith in this album. I have enjoyed both their previous albums, so I'm assuming they'll do some interesting stuff and I'll be entertained.
HQ song is out. It sounds a lot like something off ABL, even in terms of that overproduced sound, but as a song objectively, it's a pretty good single.
I don't mind which album this new release will resemble more in terms of sound; just, at the very least, I really want lyrical themes that hark back to those of the self-titled album or just stuff along those lines.
I want the entire progressive sound from the first album back ABL wasn't bad by any means -- I enjoyed it -- but I'd like the debut's sound back.
FUCK! they play in my city next month. at a location that fits 600 people... IT'S A FUCKING CHURCH!!! A... CHURCH! i will get a ticket for that sold-out show and will pay 180 euro for it on ebay. this is just too epic!
