Don't you love how every single bullet Leon fires is either a headshot or a killshot? It got kinda ridiculously awesome.

    V For Vendetta

I finally got round to seeing this film and I was very impressed indeed. The film sends out a strong message and some of the quotations in the film are exceptional. The one query I have with it is that the acting and dialogue was weak in some places but otherwise a solid film.

Reservoir Dogs. The drawn out dialog scenes, which is basically what the movie is, was hard to get through at some points. Other than that, it was a solid movie. 3.5/5

Aside from that I've watched 2 documentaries:

Metal, A Headbanger's Journey and Global Metal. Being a non-metalhead I enjoyed both the movies a lot. They definitely made me appreciate certain things about the genre/culture. Highly recommended for all the metal fans.

    Star Trek 9/10

Hands down the best Sci-Fi movie I've watched since The Matrix. And no, I am not kidding.

Watched Jeniffer's Body the other night.

    6/10

Kept me interested. I didn't go into it expecting it to be very scary and it wasn't so I wasn't disappointed. Basically just tries to center itself around sex, It reminded me almost of the old serial killer movies like Halloween where its not really scary. More of funny then scary. Not bad. Not great. Burnt some extra time I had on my hands.

American Pie: The Book Of Love

Actually alot better than the seventh film in a series should be. A good solid teen comedy with some pretty funny moments and insanely hot girls taking their tops off...what more could you want?

    Harry Brown

The script was awfully pedictable and the subplot with the female detcetive was unnecessary. It's saving grace was the films director and the cast, worth a watch just for that.

    Law Abiding Citizen

It was a fun movie to watch. Nothing more, nothing less. They had a pretty interesting idea, but couldn't execute it properly. Also the sub par acting, coupled with some of the cheesy dialogs, brought it down a notch for me.

    Starship Troopers - 9/10

    Still awesome as all hell.

    Starship Troopers 2 - 4/10

Not really a sequel. Instead, the film should be viewed as a "side story" of sorts.

    Starship Troopers 3 - 6/10

The film could have been much worse, but for low budget the production team had, it was a good effort. Some awkward and ridiculous concepts arise along the course of the story, and the design for the 'Marauder' machines do not live up to the 'hype' the cast and production team tried to convey towards the media. The only real gem this film has to offer is the return of Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico.

Overall, an extremely inconsistent trilogy. The franchise definitely deserves much better treatment. Damn shame.

    Four Christmases - 7/10

A fun movie to pass the time with.

The Day the Earth Stood Still - 6/10

A slow buildup..leading up to a disappointing and lackluster climax and solution.

    Captivity

It's shot very stylishly and had a few decent suspenseful moments. But what killed this movie was the script and weak performances. Seemed like the director was trying to cash in on the popularity of gore flicks.

    Brothers (4/10)

This movie did nothing for me. The only thing that was incredible were the last 25 minutes of the film where Tobey Maguire's character goes ballistic. Outstanding stuff there.

Watched Zombieland for the first time since I saw it in theaters. Great film. Great acting, great lines. Only flaw was a little predictable and some parts dragged on. They were few and far in-between. 4.5/5

    Brothers - 6/10

Agreed. I went in expecting to see another side of Maguire's acting chops, and I wasn't disappointed.

    13: Game of Death

This is a Thai thriller about a dude who gets lured into a deadly game by a mysterious caller. The concept is pretty cool and I liked certain aspects of the movie. For instance, the direction was pretty sleek, the acting from the lead guy was great and the it was pretty suspenseful throughout. On the drawback side, I found the ending to be quite anticlimactic. Some plot points were lazily written as well. Overall it was a fun experience. Nothing mind-blowing.
