    From Ultimate-Guitar.Com

I'm sad that he's left the Chili Peppers, but I'm excited as I've always seen his solo work as being truly amazing. I'm also interested to hear how Josh works with the band. Hopefully he brings some new energy that RHCP has been lacking.

It's a shame, him in the band really makes them shine. I'll check out his solo stuff though, never heard it and I like his playing.

A bunch of talent musicians, but I hope they disband soon as they're becoming horribly stale. This makes me excited for more solo work from John though!

They've always been overrated in my book, even if they do have a few good songs. He can do better.

Always wanted to see them play live with this line-up, I hope they'll tour together again one day.

I don't think this is a big surprise, though, Frusciante's more than just a guitar player in a rock band, even a big rock band.

Kind of weird how Josh comes into the picture, I'd say he was working with them because of John. Since they've worked closely together in the past, and still do, I doubt he'll become a permanent member, but who knows...
