In the past few days the original version of Amp Live's Reanimation remix of A Place For My Head has been discovered on the Amp Live World website. This version is thought to have been the original demo of the remix which was later produced into the track that featured on the 2002 remix album. The track features a more garage-driven beat, samples of the original guitar riff in the verses and could be described as vastly different to the finished track. Wow this is very different, I like it though. Could've worked as a stand alone remix, as it's different enough from the final.
This remix is way better than MTM haha okay, little joke.. I really love this remix, better than the final version to me, the guitar in the verse of Zion sounds a little bit different, maybe amp added some effects..
This is the original. The song that apppears on the album is the finished product of this remix. EDIT: Ah the Team Sleep remix of My December...I wonder if we'll ever hear that.
I like the final better as well, but this is neat; I like the "Go Away" repeat. I don't think I've ever heard a reanimation demo...I didn't really think there really would be any; are there any other known ones?
There's a demo of the remix Jay Gordon did for Points Of Authority and the original Humble Brothers remix of One Step Closer (without Jonathan Davis) out there but that's it as far as we know.
It's pretty cool, infact, it sounds really cool But overall, it's pretty underwhelming. But those were some sick beats and editing
I think it's kinda cool, but it definitely makes me appreciate the final cut a lot more for how dark and how deep it is.
Yeah, and there are also, like, B-sides. Remixes that didn't make the album but were subsequently released for promo and whatnot.
