Random Thoughts 23!

Wow...I hate my house.

 

I'm so excited for Vacancy's week recording next week; it's gonna be so fun. We're changing my lounge into a practice room so we can get ready for our gig at the end of the week as well. Gotta finish writing new songs though 'cause we've started two but they're nowhere near finished.

 

Hook me up with that stuff when it's finished.

At the moment, I think we're re-recording 2 songs, recording 2 others that you won't have heard, another one that we played once then forgot and had to re-write and then possibly the two brand new songs if we get them finished (which I doubt). It's more likely that we'll do an acoustic demo of one of the two new songs. Should be fun though. I want to re-record Behind The Seen as well though so that all the tracks have some consistency but I'm not sure how much time we'll have. I'm HOPING we can get all that done in 5 days but we'll see. If we do get it done I'll be well happy 'cause it'll mean we finally have another EP of songs that we actually like lmao

 

Sounds awesome dude. I look forward to hearing some new stuff...One request though - don't forget 'No, You Hit Me' in your plans. That song is just made of win!

 

We still play it live most of the time, but I think that's because we don't have enough songs for a set without it 'cause we scrapped so many haha!

It's one of those things though, 'cause that song is like, 3 or 4 years old now so it's getting time to move on lol. I'm sure it'll make a comeback every once in a while though. Like the last gig we played, we played FO and we dropped that from the set a LONG time ago xD

We'll see what happens anyway.

Am off for a bit of a sleep now so I'll speak to you soon and let you know how things are progressing for us. If you have any ideas on promotion for us, feel free to let me know as well 'cause at the moment I have no idea how to expand other than touring (which we can't do until POSSIBLY the summer).

Yep it's sleepy time for me too. I'll defo try and refer as many people as possible to Vacancy when I get the oppertunity though.
