    I´m guessing october...

    Phoenix was asking for album names on his twitter...and mike´s post today saying that the indicator of an album ready to be finished is when they announce tour dates.

    So... At least a single will be out in October...so a maximum of November!!! But October is a pretty solid guess

    As the first single should always break the mainstream and will probably be engineered to do so, I see a lot of people being disappointed with LP's new work not being experimental/different/ground-breaking enough.

    Yeah the fact the album is near completion is the best news out of this entire article. I predict a new single by September at the latest. :)

    Yeah, they won't win either way. People will complain it's too much like their old stuff if they don't change, and if they do experiment, people will complain it's not Linkin Park... again.

    Very excited here. I'm hoping LP finally step out of their comfort zone with this record. They did it somewhat with MTM, but in many ways I feel they played it safe. I want the gloves to be off with this record.

    Agreed. I do honestly admit that I expect MTM part 2 though.

    Maybe the new album will be released earlier than we expect. Why not August or September ? :)

    Because it was only a few weeks ago they began mixing, I am guessing thats the time of the first single.

    Yeah, not even propper mixing, test mixing/shootout. Hopefully they've chosen their mixer and are into mixing by now now though.

    I think some guesstimates of early 2011 as a release are way out. I don't see it being later than November, and September at the earliest.

    But these are arena shows and I've never seen one with 26.000 people in it. Therse are the biggest arenas in Germany and can easily keep up with Europe :)

    I'm waiting til LP plays in the Veltins Arena. They could play in front of 60.000 people there. It's a soccer stadium but they can close the roof...
    btw. they played in Düsseldorf in the soccer Arena 2008. I'm not sure how much people were in the stadium but it could easily be 50.000.....

    but no one beats stuttgart 2009. 35.000 (ok.... it was open air ^^)

    I'm feeling more like the album will release right at the proximity of this tour. I sure hope it does.
