Two big game series' Halo and Call of Duty have been going for a long while now and I just thought I'd see who prefers what, or if they ever like the games. I think Halo: Reach being the last Halo game is good, because it is actually going to end the series if games (at least for now) while the Call of Duty series seems to be going on forever. So, which do you prefer, if any?
I don't like games like Halo where you fight against monsters in the space...that's too unrealistic for me. I prefer more realistic games like Call of Duty, BF, Far Cry....
Oh wow, I really can't choose. I have been playing those since they came out. I like Halo because it has a really big story with alot of more stories behind, history, everything matches, plots, theories. I like COD (mostly the Modern Warfare series) for being real. Real guns, good stories (though MW2 was a bit over the top). 1-1 for me.
Neither. In both games I got myself lost and ended up epic failing the game because I didn't know how to get off the fricken' ship in Halo!
Halo was fun until 3 for me, than it became all about the online multiplayer, which I hate with a passion. Haven't played anything after that though. From what I hear I'm not missing much. As for the Call of Duty games, I've never liked them since the first one for ps2. Not entirely sure why but I never have. I have tried a few of them however. I will admit that I am bias against pretty much all current shooters. Mostly because of the emphasis on online multiplayer which I severely dislike and still have never gotten into.
Reach has had some major multiplayer updates, and is really looking very good. You might end up changing you mind, but then again Black Ops looks amazing.
To be honest, a multiplayer emphasised FPS has kept me hooked either. Sometimes playing TF2 or CS:S with my friends is fun, but I much prefer Half Life or Metroid Prime.
I actually like both types. I love war games like CoD or Bad Company 2 but sometimes I want a sci fi shooter like Halo. I simply can't make this decision!
I'm a fan of both games online. However, I tend to lean towards Call of Duty for both campaign and online play.
Call of Duty. Even though Modern Warfare 2 is good, I'd still prefer Call of Duty 4, it's just a classic bas far as Halo goes, I've only ever played the first one, and have never owned an Xbox.
