Mike recently updated his blog and twitter with the following link:

If you click the link, you currently see white static in the shape of a rather large square. This might be a possible teaser for what could be their new album cover or single, although there are no guarantees. Keep checking the link periodically to see what is revealed.

The reason I think it's a viral is because it's not posted on the main page of Linkinpark.com I find that kind of odd, yeah?

It was probably Warners dumb idea to promote the album like this. I'm only upset because new LP news =/ a tease gif that doesn't reveal anything yet.

The picture doesn't have to be interactive, all there has to be is something hidden and I think it's quite obvious there is. That or mike is just fucking screwing with us. xD

Nothing appears to be hidden. It looks like something that will eventually reveal more and more each day; like some sort of countdown.
