Message 4 - 'A Thousand Suns' Coming in September?!

I think it's funny how metal fans were annoyed that Minutes To Midnight too closely resembled Iron Maiden's song title "Two Minutes To Midnight". Now that LP might have a song or album entitled "A Thousand Suns", I am quickly reminded of Iron Maiden's song "Brighter Than A Thousand Suns" which is also based on this same exact idea. LOL

 

You probably brought up the new annoyance for Iron Maiden fans.

 

I couldn't really give two shits about it to be honest.

 

Neither do I, but still, if they read this (which they won't) they will be like;
"OH EM GEE! EL-PEE STOLE OUR NAMES GUYZ"

MAYBE ( i stress the maybe ) like the nuclear bomb which was amazing like 1000 suns but is the catalyst to the end of mankind, this album which just like the bomb will be amazing, is the end of linkin park! I REALLY HOPE ITS NOT. Please tell me thats completely ridiculous!!!!

As a Maiden fan, I'd just like to point out that I could care less.

Having said that, you'd think the band would do their homework on these sort of things lol

 

I think they'll get better when the tour will start...and when the album will be released...Well I hope so

 

I like the name A Thousand Suns. But still, I think the title should be connected with their lyrics. Wondering what will they write about?

 

It probably shouldn't matter that much, unless I've got my history completely out of whack and Iron Maiden played a key part in the development of Hinduism and nuclear weapons and actually coined both phrases themselves. But they probably didn't.

That's what's weird though. It's odd for them to knowingly choose a similar title as IM's, not once but twice lol

But w/e, I don't want to go into a lengthy debate over this. As long as the music is dope, I'm cool.
