I've just been given the opportunity to create a video piece for my local Police organisation. The thing is.. I don't have any means of editing video at home (or anywhere else for that matter) So I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any 'free' video editing software available on the inter-webs?? Thanks in advance -JJ
http://www.desktop-video-guide.com/top-5-free-video-editing-software-review.html or You could try Sony Vegas. You can find it at any torrent site.
Vegas isn't free, and downloading it without paying (unless it's a trial from Sony's website) is illegal. But anyway, if you're using a Mac, it comes with iMovie, and if you use Windows, it comes with Windows Movie Maker. I recommend the XP version of WMM and iMovie 2006. The newer versions of both of these don't have many tools you can use to edit with, and not a lot of effects.
What if showering were illegal I guess we should stop doing that too. I understand why you don't like it but I can't say I agree with your sentiments. Also Kdenlive, it's pretty good but it's for linux. you can also try AVS Video editor which may be free Oh and if you like VLC they actually have their own movie editor out now but it's still in beta it's called VLMC (video lan movie creater) you can find download links for both windows and linux here http://trac.videolan.org/vlmc/wiki/Downloads 100% free But if you want something better torrent Sony Vegas, or Adobe elements.
I read the part about it being for a police organization and choose to completely ignore it. (as you can see, I'd probably be the first guy to get arrested by making video that supports police) Also I gave free open source alternatives.
Saying that is also like saying we should stop paying everyone that's been working hard to make the program by stealing it. Would you download Linkin Park's music without paying for it? I kinda understand where you guys are coming from when you disagree with me, but personally, I think it's just a big "Fuck you and your work" when you download music, programs, etc. illegaly. ...we need a new thread for this discussion.
Well, considering the studies show that pirating actually help album sells... I'll have to disagree still.
How about moving this topic into Serious Chat? The thing is, as people change a lot, we'll have to listen the stuff first before we decide to buy it so.... We're not rich, and at least i don't want to waste any money on sth. that I never know, also don't know if that's good or not. Different people Different ideas.
Agreed with the above on moving it. But I dunno, I guess I'm the only one that thinks what I think? EDIT: I made a thread regarding the issue. http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31133&p=954957
