A Thousand Suns Tracklist

Hahn's attempted scratching is what makes the first album so damn outdated to me.

And I'm saying there's probably a few instrumentals because I don't know if I want a 15 song album entirely of Chester singing/screaming and Mike rapping/singing. It looks like it might be an hour long, MAYBE, and if so, I can't stomach that. Albums like this needs breaks. Otherwise it feels bloated.

 

A Thousand Suns: Concept album. Period.

 

Should that happens, I'm game to put an end on Joe's career; leaving The Seed and SURU as his only achievements.

 

So basically, the only reason this would be wrong would be if the band changed its mind last minute...which they won't.

Thanks Joe! Can't wait, this is all exciting news. Hope "The Catalyst" gets leaked early and possibly the album. I'll still be buying the album though I remember M2M was leaked almost two weeks early!

Understandable. I'm definitely expecting the intro to be instrumental, especially considering it's name implies something dream-like, which vocals can ruin. I think each song will be diverse enough though that the amount of singing and/or rapping won't be a problem because it will sound consistently fresh throughout.

 

Loving the titles, they sound so different and there are 15 of them! Everything about this album has EPIC written all over it. I've never been this excited for a music album.

 

It's actually kind of funny, Minutes to midnight is my favorite Linkin Park album, i'm stupid i know, i'm just saying that it's basic and a radio friendly album... And yes Scratching would have made it better, and stop this shit about scratching over shadow of the day/valentines day. My point is that the scratching type songs werent in the album. However my favorite song on the album is valentines day because athough the lyrics don't relate to me, i feel that i can relate to the tune somehow, so don't give me shit about me hating the album.

thanks for your efforts guys ... since 4-5 years though i havent posted much, but i have been daily visitor of your brilliant website. Hoping fans of other bands which i love along with Linkin Park (Hint=My Avatar) could come up even 10% of you are doing.

 

well i do remember reading that for once Chester thinks something is gonna be tough and a concept album he said would be difficult.

 

this album is sure going to be epic and it would be over a hour long

 

It said 'Thanks for the help' and he gave me a logo and a short video.

 

Well they eventually dismissed the idea of a concept album but I say that's a bunch of crap. Everything about the promotion and imagery up to now screams concept album. I think they just wanted to throw us off the scent of their plans.


Remember Mike also told us to ignore any theories of "September 14th" in the hidden messages at linkinpark.com and I knew even then he was just trying to cover his ass.
