Stats: The Catalyst

Mike recently updated his blog to inform us fans on some statistics that "The Catalyst" has achieved so far.

The Catalyst
- First #1 debut in history of Billboard Rock Songs chart
- #1 at Modern Rock radio
- #1 Most Added at Alternative, Active Rock, and Mainstream Rock Radio (upon release)

The Catalyst/Medal of Honor video
- #1 most viewed video on all of youtube, worldwide, upon release

Also, on a different statistic, Linkin Park reached 11 million people on their Facebook page. It was 4 million back in April 2010.

To be honest, I haven't really listened to The Catalyst that much. Not because I don't like it but I fear if I overplay it it will become boring.

 

ive listened to the catalyst 91 times on my itouch , thats alot in three weeks, my top most played from HT is IN THE END at 94 and ive have the song on my ipod like forever, my most played on meteora is numb at 102, and MTM is ACROSS THE LINE(104) AND NOT ALONE(167) and they werent even on the album. yep...... i can say that i love the catalyst

and yes we do need to make this the album of the year, but were competing against a bunch of other albums that come out near ATS. Examples: Weezer, Kanye West, Disturbed, Bad Religion.
I have confidence that Linkin Park will be the best one!

 

If you're talking about sales, ATS will EASILY beat out all of those albums. The competition will be Eminem, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, etc. ATS will also surely be "better" than all those artists that I mentioned. I will be interested to see how it fares compared to those albums.

And the only one from the three you mentioned that came out with a new album this year is Eminem, lol.

 

I think I'm high right now. I could have swore they were early 2010. But Lady Gaga made some thing called The Fame Monster? Haha whatever.

 

Of course Linkin Park would own in sales lol, i just wanna see if they sell 1 million albums in the first week. I really want that to happen.

I'm really glad that they did something that was so different to them and fans; and have it so far turn out this well.

I listen to The Catalyst once or twice a day. I'm not sick of it except the middle part can get a little boring at times. But then the "Lift me up" part comes and I love it all over again.
