I can say now that the next album will probably be the most complex album they've ever made...and probably the best. And I'm gonna love it, this is the true evolution from Meteora...still thinking MTM was bullshit though

The main problem of MTM to me was the expectations I had after QWERTY...and it is the one album that had songs I dislike (like In Between or Valentine's Day). In spite of that, it was a required step they had to do, to clean all the nu metal stuff and so...But in my opinion they did not do their best for all that stuff about Chester and everything...and now I'm pretty sure this album won't disappoint me.

MTM was good in its own right, I think it was just missing a little something that I can't place my finger on but it is absent. I am a Meteora supporter despite the fact that its HT pt2 and MTM was a low point in my fan-career of LP.

ATS will be/is the peak, I wasn't half as excited for Meteora...and i was REALLY excited for that. But this...i'm almost foaming at the mouth waiting for this record. It will be the center of my listening interest for the next 10 years, the way hybrid theory has been since 2000 (i hope/predict)

 

IMO HT was a good start, but it's not their best work.

Listening to Meteora lately it still blows my mind.

They took HT and turned it up to 11.

 

My only problem with M2M was that the songs didn't go with each other. It was a collection of songs rather than an album. As for ATS, it sounds like it will have even more new sounds than M2M...AND they will flow. I'm anxious to see how LP pulls this off.

When Meteora was about to be released I was very hyped...but it was the half I am now with ATS.

My post wasn't sarcastic at all. Minutes to Midnight makes Meteora it's little bitch. It's black sheep. A red-headed stepchild, if you will. Songs like Somewhere I Belong and every other song that copied songs from Hybrid Theory do not pack the punch as they did when they first came out and are an embarrassment today.

 

I absolutely LOVE that instrumental! Freaking sick! I can't wait any longer.. ><

 

I'm also glad I pre-ordered the limited edition now! At the time I was like, of course I'm gonna get it but really? should I? but bloody hell I'm glad I did because all the hype, all the previews/trailers, interviews etc are just making me go crazy with excitement!

 

Deluxe Fan Edition is now worth it. Even more than previously considered.

 

love the sound of the new track. Though hope theres some more catalyst sounding tunes on the album too. im sure there will be ^^
