Wisdom Justice and Love feat Iridescent = great , just Iridescent just good

 

This forum makes me chuckle. It is the polar opposite of the Muse message boards that I frequent. When The Resistance came out, fucking EVERYONE hated it and you were called a fanboy just for liking it. Here everyone loves ATS and is giving is over-the-top accolades.

I have a feeling that the result will actually end up the same, though. After a few months, most people at the Muse site agreed the album was decent enough and had some stand-out moments... I foresee the same happening here. The high of a new album eventually wears off and people will see how they really feel about the album.

That said, I've been at work all day and haven't had a chance to listen to this. The abundance of high praise is exciting but puts a lot of pressure on the album.

My album review after listening once:
The Requiem - Great intro song!
The Radiance - I didn't get it... 58 seconds that could've been added to the first track.
Burning In The Skies - AMAZING SONG! The guitar solo is just EPIC!
Empty Spaces - Pointless interlude that didn't belong.
When They Came For Me - HOLY SHIT! Just amazing rapping Mike!
Robot Boy - The only song that got boring until the end.
Jornada Del Muerto - I was expecting a song but the synths were still cool!
Waiting For The End - My third favorite on the album! Great chorus!
Blackout - It was just OK. They should of replaced the synths with guitars.
Wretches & Kings - FUCKING EPIC! That's well said...
Wisdom, Justice, And Love - It's just a speech with some voice effects... nothing special.
Iridescent - My favorite off the album. If you listen you'll understand why...
Fallout - More voice effects that should've been part of The Catalyst!!!
The Catalyst - I'm used to this song and I'm pretty sure everyone else here is.
The Messenger - Ends strong with great vocals! Another one of my favorites.

Overall I'd give it an 8/10. It was pretty good but Meteora is still there best album... just sayin. Out of all of their albums I'd rate this one my second favorite TO DATE. I definitely recommend you buy this album and GO AND LISTEN TO IT NOW!!! WAITING ONE WEEK IS JUST GOING TO MAKE YOU STARVE!!!

PEople hated on the latest Muse album wow ... its like their best one

 

I'm not going to dl the leak. nonononononononon. Only six days...this will be a challenge for me and others waiting. A BIG dose of patience with this one.

 

I love all of LP's album almost equally, i dont understand the Meteora's hate ???? i've been listening to those songs for years and they're still good. For me Meteora is much better than MTM , and this album is what MTM should have been, a complete separation from their previous album while still sounds so fucking awesome.

I've given in to some snippets and streams, but I have drawn the line. Call it force of will, call it resisting, call it courage, call it the deep seeds of one of our unalienable rights, call it wateva u like! I say NO to dling this leak in my case and i hope others that are waiting don't give in either. There is something magical and worthwhile when listening to the physical disk for the first time. IMHO, this is a test to those who said they would wait.

I can honestly say that I never want to listen to When They Came For Me ever again. Takes the title away from In Between for LP song I can't stand

 

This blows M2M OUT OF THE WATER!!!!! I was very worried with their choppy and "raw" sound they tried with M2M. ATS = Masterpiece!

 

So what do you think is the best song on the album? I can't decide between Iridescent, Blackout, The Messenger, or Burning In The Skies.
