Actually, no. I do not. I think they're actually sort of cool and they are meant to sound kind of awkward, and the meaning behind them is really heavy so I like them. I can understand where people would think they're awful but for me it just seems to work really well.
No. Somewhere I Belong has the worst lyrics. There's only so many times you can rhyme something with the word feel. (And yes that is a challenge for people to reply in this thread with words that rhyme with feel)

This is true... well only one thing to do... Everyone name the worst song on Meteora (except Somewhere I belong. That one is too easy) and see which one comes up on top... GO! (In terms of lyrics of course. To sort of stay semi on topic )
Don't Stay has probably the worst lyrics overall on that album, but it's also probably one of the songs on there that I enjoy most haha.
Yeah... Don't get me wrong I like Meteora for the sound. Songs like Don't Stay, Breaking the Habit, etc are great sounding but its the fact that Don Gilmore had them re-write the lyrics so much to make the songs so radio friendly that it just killed it. When I was a teenager though the music to me was awesome. It was like the fuel for my teen rage!! RAWR! but as I grew older (almost 26 now, married and a father) hearing the music now I just can't *relate* to it anymore. When Minutes to Midnight came out I really enjoyed the more "Mature" sound that they came up with. A lot of songs I could relate to as well. One example would be the song "Shadow of the Day". Any time I hear this song it helps comfort me with the thoughts my daughter passing away at 6 months old. Painful day and the song just tends to help comfort me so I don't lose control. Music is how you want to take it. I'm not hating on Meteora in a sense. I'm mostly just saying I grew up from Meteora. I am looking forward to hearing ATS on the 15th.
