Question, during the bit that I italicized and placed in bold, is it Mike singing and Chester doing the crazy bit in the background? To me from the very first it sounded different from all the other verses but several people have said that it's Chester when it really sounds like Mike to me. and then they sing the very last line together. You say / you're not gonna fight / 'cause no one will fight for you And you think / there's not enough love / and no one to give it to And you're sure / you've hurt for so long / you've got nothing left to lose So you say / you're not gonna fight / 'cause no one will fight for you You say / the weight of the world / has kept you from letting go And you think / compassion's a flaw / and you'll never let it show And you're sure / you've hurt in a way / that no one will ever know But someday / the weight of the world / will give you the strength to go Hold on / the weight of the world / will give you the strength to go So hold on / the weight of the world / will give you the strength to go So hold on / the weight of the world / will give you the strength to go Just hold on / the weight of your world / will give you the strength to go
As far as I can tell, all the vocals on Robot Boy are Chester. Mike's usually pretty noticeable when he's singing harmonies because he stands out more than when Chester's singing harmonies with himself.
I think it's pretty clearly Chester and Mike singing. Mike is just singing an octave lower and gets drowned out.
