Pendulum Cover 'The Catalyst'

The pacing is too fast and the vocals, minus the lift me up part, sounds kinda weird. Great cover nonetheless, they made it their own.

 

Great cover ? Are You people high? This is pure shit music ans I have listened to quite a few of this crap bands stuff it all sounds the same all of it pure SHIT!!! The original has actual musical complexity original feel and depth this AWFUL cover sounds just like every crap pendulum song horribly mixed and vocals just painful to hear shame such great music gets such aN AWFUL cover shame.

 

Respect them even you don't like them.

And be respect everyone opinion, they are not high when they love something.

And this is live, what can you expect more than this? The exact cover would make them not equal to a piece of the original, so they made it their own version which sounds weird enough to be good.


I listened to their latest album, nothing sound like crap at all, from average to great.

Can't help shake the feeling Pendulum is almost showing up Linkin Park, without even trying much, as in: "This is show electronic music is supposed to be done." It would have been uber-awesome to see some of these elements incorporated into A Thousand Suns.

 

As much as I dislike Pendulum - I definitely think this cover is better than the original in a lot of parts. Much more intense.

 

I don't think it's like that. Rob Swire is a fan of the band so it's more than likely he heard the song and liked it enough to cover it when the option came about.

That said, I do think LP could learn alot from Pendulum on the electronic side of things.
