I really had to stop myself there from going into detail about the pros and cons of longbows.

      I'm such a nerd.

yeah, there's an art school in los angeles that I've been looking at, so I'm thinking about trying to get in.

until very recently, I would have these mysterious bruises on my legs, and I never had any idea where they came from. turns out I run into things so often that it's become normal.

klutziness isn't fun, especially because of the pain that's associated with it.

I understand where they're coming from, but they're not always going to be around to hold my hand to make sure that I'm doing things right. the only hope I've really got in terms of getting away without having the never-ending barrage of "you know you can't just sit around all day, not paying attention to anything. you've got to work" is if i go to college, or do something that requires me to travel.

btw, I can relate on everything except for the cooking part. i can cook fairly well (providing no one comes into the kitchen), but i have a terrifyingly short attention span, and i swear i'm the only person i know who can SEE the wall in front of them, and still run into it.

I can see where it would be a bit depressing, yeah.

how I wish I had the capacity to be neutral. as much as I hate to admit it, I can be really biased when it comes to certain things. then again, those things usually involve my intense dislike for pretty much anyone who's bigoted.

I'm 17. 18 at the beginning of January. I don't get why my parents act like I don't have a say in what goes on with my life. I'm almost past the point where they should need to take care of me, and at the stage where I should start providing for myself. I guess because I don't pay attention as closely as I should, or because there's been so much turmoil in our family, they think I'm going to have a hard time adapting. I can't say I disagree, but I think I'm at the point where I have to learn for myself.

by the way, that part about everyone being equal was fascinating. I actually never thought of it that way.

I really wouldn't know a deep thought if it bit me in the ass. unless you're talking Jack Handey. I tend to mope more than your average angsty teen though, as is frequently pointed out by family members.

you're right, it is my life, but you have no idea how weird my parents are about me moving out. it's not that they don't want me to ever leave, it's that the places I've looked at, they tend to freak out over. I dunno though, maybe they've just got my best interests in mind.

I can never decide with them though.

moving used to be fun, until it seemed like my family had to pack up every 3 to 6 months to go somewhere else. granted, I know there are people who have it worse off than I do, but it's just annoying to never be able to really get used to someplace before I have to leave.

deep thought, eh? I actually just thought I was being mopey. :P

seriously though, I do want to move, it's just a question of where, and how to get the money, and whether or not I'm going to feel guilty, or like I'm deserting my family.

to answer what you said in the shoutbox, i guess i'm just tired of moving around constantly, and having to deal with the same thing everywhere i go. nothing's new to me anymore. i guess i figure that if i leave the country, i'll at least have a new place to get bored with.

Not caring is bliss, judging others is hard work. I should try the former more often.
