I was pretty much working full-time and still studying at uni, so the little internet time I possessed had to be given to organising things with people I can actually see in person. No offense guys.

Are Harlz and any of the other "Ozzies" still around?

That's like the Irish not drinking Guinness...If you don't drink Guinness in Ireland you're looked at funny.

 

Fosters : Australia ; PBR : America

 

But almost nobody here drinks the stuff , I don't even know why it was chosen to be the "national" drink.
If anything it's probably Tooheys Extra Dry, or if you're cheap, Victoria Bitter. Or if you're even cheaper, goon (aka cheap cask wine straight from the bag).

 

It's not good that I'm now craving a beer at 25 to 5 in the morning.

In the UK, fosters is one of the cheapest beers you can get. It's like 3 quid for a pint.

 

It's weird how things like that can change depending on context. For example, I've been led to believe Stella Artois is the "wife beater" beer over in the UK, but here it's a reasonable mid-range brew.

 

Yeah haha, I honestly feel tempted to make an off-license run right now.

Theres a 24 hour shop about 5 mins away from where I live...I know that if I go I'll get looked at funny and also buy loads of junk food I don't need. Speaking of which, I fancy a kebab.

I've officially given up trying to go to sleep. I've taken my laptop downstairs to the living room and I'm now opening a can of diet cherry coke.

Luke - JD is my drink too. But not my "let's get fucked up" drink. I like single barrell because it's more of a "I'm going to relax and drink this out of a glass" drink.
