The release of Coldplay's Christmas song today made me wonder what other Christmas songs you guys find good. I think IMO most of them come off as too cheesy (yes I know that's intended) but some are good enough to outlast the season. What are some great Xmas songs you guys know? In no particular order: John Lennon's, The Fray's and Maroon 5's version - Happy Xmas (War Is Over) [see below] All of the Jackson 5 Christmas Album Paul McCartney - Having a Wonderful Christmas Time Bobby Helms - Jingle Bell Rock The Killers - Don't Shoot Me Santa Zebrahead - All I Want For Christmas Is You Litttle Drummer Boy (The original version and Sean Kingston's version) My favorite Christmas song at the moment, though, happens to be a version that I just found this year: [video=youtube;lFHqyojxYM8]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFHqyojxYM8[/video] I'm a sucker for The Fray, and this is a touching cover/homage to Lennon's original. Although Maroon 5's version was amazing as well.
