I'm so sick and tired of all the rampant Uncharted fanboyism I see all over the place on gaming communities and the like. Yes I'm aware that each game has consistently received high marks, and yes I'm aware that the series as a whole has received 30 plus Game Of The Year awards, however; it doesn't mean under any circumstances that Uncharted is the "end all" action-adventure game and that every game after it, owes a debt to it and it's ultimate greatness.

All I've seen since this TR reboot was announced is how it's going to "copy uncharted" and how Tomb Raider now owes a debt to what Naughty Dog has done with UC. Bullshit. Not only is this reboot going in a completely seperate direction than UC (going more 'survival horror' then adventure), but the original Tomb Raider predated the first uncharted by a full decade. When TR1 came out, it introduced many things that were at the time unprecedented. As much as people want to shit on Tomb Raider, if that game never existed...the gaming landscape would be drastically different than it is today. Tomb Raider greatly helped the sales of the original PS1 (allowing Sony to continue with the PS2, PS3) and made some of the games today possible. That is undeniable and researching gaming history will prove that.

Uncharted is a good series, but for god's sake people need to get a grip.
