Linkin Park will be playing their second date of the North American Tour in Tampa, FL at the St. Pete Times Forum. Coming off a solid first show in Sunrise, FL on the 20th the band will continue their A Thousand Suns World Tour tonight. The band performed a familiar setlist on the first night, which many tour followers may remember from Europe, however the band removed Fallout & The Catalyst from the encore which was apparently due to guitarist, Brad Delson's illness. Rumours suggest the band will be rotating three sets during this tour; A, B & C respectively, however comments from Mike suggesting "three brand new sets" were in question as we saw the return of a setlist from Europe. Was this intentional to allow the band to find their feet? Will this set be one of the A, B or C sets? What do you think of the setlist and what would you change? *View 20.01.11 Setlist. Among the set the band took the time to sing "Happy Birthday to Rob", as it was drummer Rob Bourdon's birthday on the opening night of the tour. We hope that Brad is resting well and is in good form to take the stage in Tampa tonight! Who's heading to Tampa to see the show and who's heading to the meet & greet? I will be there!! I really hope Brad is feeling better so we get The Catalyst and other songs. I'm really REALLY hoping they debut Robot Boy for the first time. Also, I'll see what pictures/videos I can get from this one. Although, I can't promise anything since this is my first Linkin Park concert and I want to take in as much of the experience as I can while not being distracted by holding a camera.
Reminder: We are still looking for volunteers to assist with tonight's show, if you're going please send me a PM. Ty.
i hope that they will play the catalyst and burning in the skies. it's really strange that they didn't play these two songs in sunrise.
No, but I think he's working MFR so he probably spoke to a tour guy, or caught a glimpse. Oh well, it's all good. I'm sure LP will start playing different sets at the next show, they probably have a system down.
We're still live updating the setlist, even if it's exactly the same. What you guys saw with Sunrise, FL is pretty much the new norm for us. Except for international shows where we may be delayed a day.
I get that last show they wanted to warm up but two shows in a row? Brad must be really sick, haha. Anyhow, all this talk about setlists is making me really nervous about my show friday. Really wanna see at least blackout live, but it'd be nice to have robot boy live too.
We're going to be starting our live updates on the setlist now. Stay tuned! EDIT: The updates are now coming in! 01) The Requiem 02) Wretches & Kings 03) Papercut 04) Given Up w/ extended outro 05) New Divide 06) Faint w/ Extended Outro 07) Empty Spaces w/ Special Thanks to Pendulum & DIOYY? 08) When They Come For Me 09) No More Sorrow w/ Extended Intro 10) Jornada Del Muerto 11) Waiting For The End 12) Wisdom, Justice & Love 13) Iridescent 14) Numb
I see that the show has started 50 minutes earlier than last show . Isn't this actually on the early side than general? I thought they usually came on at around 9:30.
