26.01.11 - Chicago, IL - Show & LPU Summit

Linkin Park will be playing Chicago, IL at the United Center tonight in what will be the fifth show of the North American leg of the A Thousand Suns World Tour. As well as the show tonight, Linkin Park will also be hosting the first ever North American LPU Summit, following on from LPU Summits in England & Australia, which were a great success.

The band are coming off a show in Detroit, MI where they debuted a completely new setlist, which saw the much anticipated Blackout performed for the first time outside of Australia, and as an encore opener. The encore was completely new in Detroit, it consisted of Blackout, Papercut, Crawling, Faint & One Step Closer. Other notable changes were the band opening with New Divide after The Requiem, and Rob bringing back the drum solo during the Bleed It Out bridge.

They also integrated Lying From You & Leave Out All The Rest into the set, removing The Messenger and also Wretches & Kings, which wasn't played for the first time ever since the release of A Thousand Suns. What do you think about the changes and which set do you prefer?

Linkin Park are still expected to debut another unknown setlist at some point in the tour. What would you like to see from the yet unknown set, and what do you think we can expect from Chicago tonight?

Live show aside, it will be a great day for all the LPU Summit attendees, who will be treated to backstage tours, playing the band's instruments on stage and a whole host of other activities. Can we expect another special acoustic performance from Linkin Park in Chicago?
