LP Heading Back Into The Studio

I got screwed with the a thousand suns tour. You know why! I still feel bad everyday about it. Really wish they would do a makeup tour for us people in Connecticut.

Mike said that LP is not gonna be involved with transformers 3 via U stream a while back i think.

 

But then some while later Joe and Phoenix both said they've got something cooking for T3

 

Iridescent will be in TF3. I heard Mr. Hahn tell Zane personally at our meet and greet last month.

 

I wonder if there will be a video for Iridescent for TF3. If so, I hope there is two versions cause I'd hate to see Transformers in a Iridescent music video.

 

Exciting. Looking forward to their next studio album, would much rather see an album than an EP.

Using a song from ATS boost album sales, then again we could have a WID part 3 .

 

I think that, while there are similarities that can't be denied between What I've Done and New Divide, New Divide is so much better. The lyrics are better, the sound is more full, and it doesn't feel like it was created to be played on the radio (in a sense I understand it was, but they did a damn good job with the creativity behind it). I don't know, WID feels like radio rock, while New Divide feels like Linkin Park. Maybe I'm the only one who sees it that way though.

 

The scratching in the bridge of New Divide is the only difference between the 2.

 

Basically this. I am already cringing at the thought of one of my beloved LP songs being ruined(even if its just a music video) by Transformers. The horror.

And even if you want to say they're similar, who cares? The goal of New Divide was for it to fit well with Transformers 2, and it did. The band was more concerned about making it sound good with the movie than what it may sound like on the radio.
