Music For Relief, the Linkin Park founded charity organization, is once again taking donations, this time for the disastrous earthquake and tsunami that took place in Japan on the 11th of March.

CLICK HERE TO MAKE YOUR DONATION.

You can also donate $10 by texting "MFR" to 85944.

    From Music For Relief:

Mike Shinoda has also designed two t-shirts for Music For Relief, to benefit the relief efforts in Japan. Take your pick of the two designs by clicking HERE.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Japan. Also on the news they just issued a warning for the people on the west coast of South America.

I give my sincere condolences to the Japanese in this time of need. I think in honor of this crisis, we should all listen to "Kenji".

Dude, thanks for typing in capital letters. I wouldn't have been able to read your post or take you seriously otherwise.

...and to answer your question, yes, it's just you.

I really don't even know how you can bring this up. The fact the BITS video is set in LA, and it's an atomic bomb, not an earthquake or tsunami, I have no idea how you can even come up with this question, especially in a topic like this. I mean seriously, bringing up anything other than the charity or what's happened is So irrelevant. Wow.

It's good that MFR responded so quick. I hope Japan recovers from this quickly and my thoughts are with all those affected by this disaster :(

I donated respectfully. Feels good :) but yea my prayers to Japan and I hope everyone is fine. Right when I heard about the incident, I thought to myself and was like MFR and Linkin Park are going to be on this right away.

Would be cool if they made songs like they did for Haiti. They don't have to though.

100% agree with this! I love that design but I also agree that Mike should combine the designs into one shirt. Unless he does the left is my choice.

I can't help shake the heartach from this. It really sucks...

I like how this dude put it

""Not Alone" would be good, but because it is a Japanese flag background without an explicit band association, it doesn't have as inclusive a feel as "Origami Butterfly", which besides having a great design, has the LP logo, which is what brought buyers in the first place; so because it's more inclusive, most likely demand for it will be higher, resulting in higher revenue to be given to the people in Japan, which is the point anyway. :)
Both great shirts in any case man! Thanks for doing what you do, music and otherwise!"

That is catastrophic. Such a small nation to begin with. I can't begin to imagine what they're going through over there. I hope the world is quick to respond.

I voted for the 'not alone' one, cuz the image feels more 'directly'.

The "Not Alone" Tee could cause more of an emotional impact for those that see it and wear it. Thats my subjective opinion, but people will recognize the cause easier. It speaks way to much power to not be worn by the people.
