Long story short, I've snagged an obscene tax refund this year (again), and I'm in the tablet market. Whatcha think? The Xoom looks interesting...actually, all of 'em do. Suggestions?
Here's the breakdown Joe: iPad 2: everyone's doing it, its nice, and complete Zoom: some people are doing it, its better than the guypad, its 4/5 complete Playbook: no one's doing it yet, potential to be as good as the zoom, about 2/3 complete The soom looks the most attractive to me, because it will be able to support whatever developers want, not what Apple wants. But I beleive it lacks SD card support at the moment. Still, she's sharper than the guypad.
playbook has potential not so sure about the xoom. ipad 2, well, you should be able to figure out for yourself.
Just saw that come up on Digg. Sad, eh? I have a 7,000 dollar computer, and no laptop (after I killed one a year and a half ago)
Xoom or Galaxy Tab 10.1 " with Android 3.1 with Google Music and Movies support, also with Usb input support so you can use Keyboards Computer Mouses Joysticks and Gamepads Audio devices Harddrives and other storage media devices (usb keys) Cameras And basicly almost all usb products that you use for your pc, you also wont have to buy an expensive adapter to use them. The playbook has android player or will have it coming sobn, which runs apk (android) programs on blackberry Os. Though it will not have access to Android Market , they'll be in the blackberry app store.
XOOM! Come on now, the iPad 2 is a big fat iPhone/iTouch with all of Apple's restrictions. A fancy computer guy like you doesn't want that Playbook? Who is that by again? Exactly.
