    im glad to see lp nominated in some award, grammy ignored them 2 times, in 2007 with mtm, and this year with ats, these albums >>>>rest

    Most of these music awards usually are. They're more like a popularity contest.
    Besides. Rihanna got 18 nominations and Adele, who is basically one of the only mainstream female pop artists who's actually talented doesn't get a single one? BS.

    I'm still happy for Linkin Park for getting nominated though! :p

    I may be mistaken but I believe these awards are given out by a judging panel and are not decided by public vote. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

    So of course, the awards were full of trash and none of the awards LP were up for were actually announced except for one, which they lost to the Black Eyed Peas.

    We'll update you the minute the full winners list is up.

    *EDIT* They lost already 4 of their categories. Waiting on results for Best Alt Album and Best Alt Song.

    Mumford and Sons won best alt album and Animal by neon trees won best alt song. Linkin Park did not win anything, lameeeeeeeeeee -_________________________________-

    And forgive me for being musically uneducated, but who the f-ck exactly are Mumford and Sons? I've never heard of them until the BMAs. If they're good, I'd love to hear their music, but honestly I have no clue who that band is.
