So many albums came out recently, so many f**king albums by amazing artists but they weren't all as good as expected.

    Here are mine:

Sum 41 - Screaming Bloody Murder
    Lupe Fiasco - LASERS
    Wiz Khalifa - Rolling Papers
    Snoop Dogg - Doggumentary
    Beady Eye - DG, SS

The new Sum 41 was a disappointment, but after Underclass Hero I wasn't totally surprised by that.

Snoop has been off since after Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. E-40's new album was pretty wack. Lasers was cool. The turn in sound for Hollywood Undead's American Tragedy was a bit of a letdown.

I really liked Underclass hero, probably because it reminded me of blink 182. Chuck was Meh, some songs were really really good while others were fillers with their heaviness. The new album is kinda like Chuck 2 but with real and, sometimes, no emotion . I didn't like how every song has like 2 parts, it fu*ked up the experience for me. I'd prefer if they continued making Underclass Hero like songs as the early Sum 41 is definitely gone.

Lupe Fiasco's LASERS is good in mainstream terms. It has many potential hits but really, it isnt lupe's best by far. Ok, the lyrics are good but everything is just too fucking poppy. Its made to climb charts, it contradicts Lupe's message. Blame Lupe or blame the label, it could have been so much better.

Definitely LASERS, there are some gems on it but for the most part, ugh. I don't even listen to it anymore.

I'm surprised to see the backlash against the new Sum album. For me, it was one of their best; levels above Underclass Hero at any rate. But then again, I didn't like Chuck that much so I'm an atypical Sum 41 fan.

I was disappointed by the new Raveonettes, Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and PATD to a lesser extent.

^ Yeah, definitely IPS too. I don't like the direction they went with.

    Within Temptation - The Unforgiving

I can understand if a band drops radio friendly poppy songs to make epic albums, not the other way around, which is what they did.

Within Temptation - The Unforgiving. Same old crap. Nothing new or exciting.
Innerpartysystem - Never Be Content EP. Wasn't a fan of the dance-y direction they took.
Foo Fighters - Wasting Light. Just didn't like it.

I wish Wiz's debut was as good as his mixtapes. That seems to happen to a lot of rappers these days, though. Not in the same realm, but Drake's So Far Gone mixtape was miles ahead of Thank Me Later.

I still like a few songs on Rolling Papers, and I'll be freaking out when I see him at Bonnaroo, but still.

Well, I like Screaming Bloody Murder a lot. I also loved Chuck though, and thought that Underclass Hero was god awful. So, opinons are opinons I guess.
