    It'll probably be some new LP app for the iphone or maybe some new apple product. If so it'll be a big yawn for me, but I'm hoping it's some cool collaboration or something in that area.

    Forgive my double post as I am on my Android and cannot find the edit button... Perhaps they will announce a date for the next album? They wanted to give a date on that last interview that they did. We will find out. Exciting.

    A fan-favourite like BB or ATL or NRL? I wouldn't consider another RITD as a surprise - we had already been surprised by that.

    Ummm....the closest thing we will get to a release date is probably something along the lines of 2-3 years.

    They said they didn't want to give a date. That's what they always say. The new album is still in its early stages and they're trying to get it finished faster than they've done with their previous albums; that's all any of us know. It's way too early for the band to be able to put down a release date and commit to it.

    The surprise is that there is no surprise because since we're all expecting a surprise then we'll be surprised that there is none and thus the paradox continues and such.

    there was that one time when Mike teased an announcement and the announcement was that there was gonna be an announcement,
    and then there was that time when his Twitter icon was a QR code, and all it did was make fun of you for decoding it.
    and then there was the whole "Linkin Park message" thing.

    I'm on to you Mr. Shinoda. But I can't hate you either.

    But did they get to rehearse it as a band? They looked like they were reading it for the first time at the summit.

    In regards to the "Did they rehearse Rolling in the Deep as a band before they played?" question. Mike said somewhere that they practiced it once before they played it.
