DSL-Cable

Hey I just got a new computer and its freaking awesome, especially since my old one was literally the slowest one in the world. This new one is a Dell Windows XP and we're thinking about getting DSL or Cable to go along with it. Any suggestions on which one I should get?

 

Id say DSL, but hell if you can go for a T3, id love one of those.

 

Get DSL. Fast and RELIABLE (Cable's reliability is average...), easy to install, it's the best.

As for the T3 : PAY IT .

 

DSL. Cable is out alot like when the power goes out. It's annoying.

 

I'd like to add one thing about cable, the more people in your neighborhood that have it, the slowest your Internet gets.

 

How the hell would you be on the computer if the power is out anyway. Surge protector?

Ah sorry. I meant when you start the computer back up when the computer goes down. We have to restart the modem and then make all the other computers in the house shut down and start back up at the same time. It's just a pain.

 

i use DSL and its all good.... B)

 

Cable is the best, Iv had both but it really depends on where you live I think.

Unless you live within 1800 meters of your phone company, get cable.

Thats pretty weird, I've heard alot of complaining about DSL at school. Please put which DSL company you have, cuz i heard sBC yahoo is really slow.

 

I have Sympatico DSL cable and its really good. I live in Toronto Canada so I don't know if its available where your at.

It cost me 45 dollars which isn't bad

 

ADSL or DSL is the best around at the mo for home users.

I am still stuck with 56K.
