LOL chester's screaming reminds me of MJ. And it's good, i dont say it's bad. But it's repeated again and again in 4:29 minutes, it's the only bad thing. It almost makes me fall asleep.
I know this song is great but i just can't take it. Sorry :rastamike:

Numb (Maybe because I heard it so many times and it's what LP are known for, but it's just annoying now)
Crawling (The first LP song I heard and it could have put me off them)
Somewhere I Belong (Very repetitive song, and awful lyrics)
In Between (Just never liked it)

Hit The Floor is not a very good song. But compared to Meteora as a whole, it's about average.

Lol, it's one of the worst songs from Meteora, ironically it has some of the best lyrics on it.

I could only think of 7, in no particular order:

    Runaway
    Easier To Run
    Hit The Floor
    Don't Stay
    In Between
    Numb
    The Messenger

It's not that I don't like them, I just don't love them like I do with most LP songs.

My least favorite songs from each album would probably be:...

    Hybrid Theory - By Myself
    Meteora - Nobody's Listening
Minutes To Midnight (hard for me to choose) - In Between
A Thousand Suns - Waiting For The End

Some other LP songs I never really got into were the remix of High Voltage for Reanimation, Forgotten, Session, A.06 and The Messenger. I still love all the songs I listed but they are my least favorites.

I pretty much don't fancy the first two albums, except for My December.

    1) I don't like the imagery it evokes. It seems way too easy to me to derive some sort of imagery from combining Valentine's Day and death (whether real or metaphorical), and that's all the song offers. This wouldn't be as big a deal if the lyrics were evocative, but...

    2) I don't like the lyrics. "Black wind" means nothing, because wind is colorless. It's like saying "sour felt" or "moist sound." How can clouds look "dissatisfied?" Are there faces in the clouds? Are the faces shaking their heads? What the hell's going on here? "Heartless wind"? No. No no no. This is seventh grade Twilight fanfic caliber writing. We can't fall back on saying that the song "flows well" or "sounds nice," because the boys are clearly trying to paint a picture. As I said, it's all about imagery, and it's failing. This wouldn't be a dealbreaker if the song had a halfway decent hook, but...

    3) I don't like the chorus. Firstly, it leads in with Chester singing, "I never knew what it was like / to be alone..." and then kicks in. But wait. He's never been alone on a Valentine's Day? Seriously? Not once? It's tacky and false. Secondly, the chorus isn't interesting. It's just Chester, over and over, lamenting/whining/singing "On a Valentine's Daaaaaaay!" Like it's some kind of deep moment.

Part of the problem here is that I think Linkin Park is generally at their best when they're exhibiting some degree of dynamism and energy. They're not sophisticated wordsmiths - their skill is recombining all their differing instrumental/musical interests into engaging pop-alt-rockers. So you can have songs with the same basic structure and premise, like "Blackbirds" and "Waiting For the End," but have each one feel very distinct and interesting and exciting.

"Valentine's Day" is them journeying into this mid-tempo slurry that exposes their lyrics for what they too often were in those days - whiny woe-is-me cliches. "Numb" and "Somewhere I Belong" exemplify this problem, but those songs at least rush to their conclusions instead of moping through a forest of angsty self-pity.
