"Burn It Down" Confirmed As New Single, Out April 16th, 2012

    Today is the day we have been waiting for. As speculated in this thread, Mike Shinoda took to Linkin Park's official Viddy account to announce details of the new single, "Burn It Down" which you can watch here.

    During the video, he announced that you will soon be able to unlock pieces of the new single on LinkinPark.com!

    So there you have it, official confirmation that "Burn It Down" will be the lead single from Linkin Park's as of yet untitled fifth studio album.

    Mike basically confirmed the Rolling Stone article details as well as 'Lost In The Echo' as another song when he retweeted the LPA's tweet about that. Should add this to the confirmation post!

    This is awesome. Glad everything has been confirmed, the speculation was getting too much. There was never any doubt Burn It Down was going to be the lead single! Can't wait.

    I will NOT be listening to the unlocked website stems. Learned my lesson with the catalyst. I will wait until the full single drops on the 16th.
