This is random, but are the Ghost Town ATS visuals ever going to be released? They're about to enter a new phase of touring. I guess they're still being used so they don't want to put them out yet?

A lot of you guys need to stop taking this debate so personally and read what others are saying more carefully. Albeit for a few exceptions, most people that have said Meteora is their least favorite album believe so because it is band's least creative record. And to be frank, the fact that Meteora is as such is irrefutable (I could fill an entire book of comments made by the band themselves to back that up). With that said, whether or not this equates to Meteora being the band's worst album is an opinion. What I'm trying to get at is this: if you don't care about creativity, it's pointless to be upset at someone who dislikes Meteora for that reason.

Another thing that people have to understand is that there's a difference between not liking Meteora now and still appreciating it. Personally, I loved it just as much as the next fan when I first heard it. Also, as already pointed out, it did help the band solidify themselves as one of the biggest names in the music industry.

 

It's not a fact it's the best either. Could it be people get annoyed when you state it's their best album as a fact?

There was once a day I wasn't able to get Meteora out of my CD player, but as I've grown older it's revealed itself to age terribly. the lyrics are really lifeless, the music gets boring and the whole thing is over-produced to the point of absurdity. Maybe one day I'll wipe the dust off of it and give it a spin, but that day is not today. Tomorrow's not looking good either.

They say as you grow older you start to revert back to an adolescent mind. Maybe I'll like it again when I'm a decrepit 70 year old man drooling in his applesauce, unable to think coherently.

 

Thanks for this post. I hope it re-clarifies what people such as myself are trying to get at when they talk about Meteora.

 

I never said it was fact it is the best, never used the word fact when I say Meteora is the best, I personally think Meteora is the best, but that's not a fact and it's not a fact that it's the worst either

 

Well, the band thinks it's their worst. Are you going to contradict them?

 

I hate this whole discussion on which album is the worst. It's a pointless, endless argument that just puts down other people's taste in music and that's bullshit. This is a fan site and this whole argument is putting down the band who we all love

 

meteora is a great album but not there best..thats all i can say.now end this stupid debate people.

Meteora has the best artwork and name imo, but it's the album that I like less. And yeah let's stop with this bullshit about which is the worst album and let's wait for the snippets that trollnoda is preparing to us
