    I always thought the picture of their feet was simply a preview to the new album photoshoot and nothing to do with the puzzle

    now that i think, "sudo" mean sudoku? there are some possibilities that these numbers can be disposed in a sudoku grid? Or sudoku, means the squares that composes the image... sorry if this was already mentioned, but i can't read all.

    ok i did the same thing you did only i said A =0 B=1 , etc

    So instead of Q,M,Y, i got RNZ, etc

    now i used polyalphabetic substitution cipher.... i decided the keyword would be BIN (break it down), plain text is our answer, and the cipher text is using RNZ, etc, not qmy..

    this is what i got using the vigenere table (http://www.math.cornell.edu/~mec/2003-2004/cryptography/polyalpha/vigenere.html ):

    Keyword: B I N B I N B I N B I N B I N B
    Plaintext: S V M B _ H X _ L M _ N W _ N _
    Ciphertext: R N Z A ? U W ? Y L ? A V ? A ?

    and that leaves me more confused.. :(

    Don't know if anybody has posted that idea yet, but it's hard to check all pages: if you subtract the beginning number from the two last digits, for example 17-5=12, you get this, if you decipher it with the alphabet:

    L I V . _ N G _ T H _ . N _ . _

    for the zeros i put points and the underscores are the numbers missing

    01. <!--5-3282 3265--> 50017 17 - 5 = 12 = L
    02. <!--4-1602 1589--> 40013 13 - 4 = 9 = I
    03. <!--3-1157 1132--> 30025 25 - 3 = 22 = V
    04. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    05. <!---->
    06. <!--6-1752 1732--> 60020 20 - 6 = 14 = N
    07. <!--5-3168 3156--> 50012 12 - 5 = 7 = G
    08. <!---->
    09. <!--4-4682 4658--> 40024 24 - 4 = 20 = T
    10. <!--3-9376 9365--> 30011 11 - 3 = 8 = H
    11. <!---->
    12. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    13. <!--7-2029 2008--> 70021 21 - 7 = 14 = N
    14. <!---->
    15. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    16. <!---->

    Got there awhile ago but didn't post because couldn't find any leads from that. Though I like how "L I V" and "T H _" form. Maybe 0 isn't a space afterall?

    Well I'll say this. Linkin Park is definitely one of the most unique bands out there. Despite how frustrating it is, it's interesting to see this progress. And we're all going to have an ohhh moment at the end.

    Haven't read much of this, 193 pages is just too much. But I have faith all you Smartypants here at LPA could figure this out. All these codes and puzzles make me too frustrated, hahah.

    You know, that's a great guess. Most sensible of all our answers up to this point.

    Good stuff. We had someone come up with the same conclusion earlier, but nothing came of it. Maybe we can re-look at it.

    It can't be living the name, otherwise there is a letter missing in 'living'
    that or a letter too much in name ^^

    anyone thought about base64 encoding, or in special the "big brother" ascii85?
    unfortunately i don't have time to apply the decoding algorithm, but a dectobin in libreoffice should convert the numbers into their binary representation (further i don't know if the first, second or the subtracted result should give a meaning), but i think this comes pretty near to the 5.4. encoding hint.

    there's a comment in jquery.puzzle.js
    "first are we dealing with mobile at all? if see if we to add a flag because mobile safari can't load multiple audio at once"

    so, if i get it right there can be something when the whole puzzle is complete.

    and i can't read the whole topic cause it's massive but there's an easter egg in the same javascript-file.
    there's a link to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0&feature=player_embedded video in the function burned
