um..this probably isn't considered news but they were mentioned in this show called Hot/Not which aired tonight on MuchMusic. It's a show that compares two similar artists. Previous examples included Sum 41 as "Hot" compared to Nickelback who was "Not" and Good Charlotte was "Hot" compared to Crazy Town who was "Not". Linkin Park was considered "Hot" while compared to KoRn who they considered was "Not". I disagree with them since I like both bands, but oh well.
They weren't on the show last year, I'm happy they're on it this year! I'll be sure to look out for the next showing to see what they're saying.

I know, I never thought MM had any either...but like you said, this time they happened to be right...
MuchMusic is very dissappointing sometimes. Even though Linkin Park were considered "hot" Amanda and Hannah dissed them either way. If you saw the show you'd know what i mean. You know when they go back to the Vj and than they put in their input. Most of the time it's good for the ones considered "hot" but they dissed them.
I betcha Korn was considered 'not' because they're CD just came out some few weeks ago and they haven't had time to do anything with it, while Linkin Park released Meteora in March. Korn is most certainly 'hot'. In a non-sexual way or course.

yeah, the VJ's said all their songs sound the same, but then they kinda said that about KoRn's stuff too. also that linkin park is hot because they're more acceptable by mainstream audiences and that both them and mtv won't play the new KoRn video. but it's all supposedly "in good fun" :wth:
