Exactly, they'll probably just play BURN IT DOWN until the new album is out, then when the US dates come around there will be probably half the new album in the set.

Ofcourse they are just playing BID as the only new song because the album haven't been released by then. And if the new album drops during the festival tour, they will most likely play more new songs! Remember it's not a part of the album tour, as far as I understand, these shows are just regular festival shows. Then on the world tour, that will most likely happen, they will play most of the new song, maybe even Robot Boy :)

I actually asked him about how he got the nickname Pooch after he told us his real name, and he said it started off on tour with Van Halen (?) when they would call him "Big Dog" which evolved into then calling him Pooch. Once he got on tour with Whitney Houston, he said the people with him wouldn't call him anything else and from then on it stuck.

When I heard "upcoming Summer dates" I assumed it meant early Summer; May, early June sort of thing.

Burn it Down is likely being released this early BECAUSE of their tour schedule. Think about it, when have they ever released a single 2-3 months in advance of the album release? That usually happens 4-6 weeks in advance, but they're coming close to doubling that this time around. The festivals they're playing in Europe were booked so far in advance that they probably thought the album would be done by the time they played them, and that ended up not being the case, so they pushed up the release of the first single so they'd have a new song to play live. I figured this would be the case as soon as they announced the BID release date.

They make one stop after each album release, to be precise.

We got "A Thousand Suns" in September 2010 and some "A Thousand Suns" shows a mere couple of months later in December. So here's hoping we get some shows this year and not next for this new album. :)

They need to come to Newcastle, Australia again. So sick to have them come to my own town.
