Honestly, The title sucks in my opinion. THE TITLE. Not the album. I'm pretty sure the album will be amazing but the title. I sincerely hope Mike is trolling us. I tried to get used to the name for like the past hour, but it just doesn't grow on me. I think it's the word things that doesn't stick to me. Seems so..blah.

 

It's called cognitive dissonance lol one of the advantages of being LIVING THINGS is we have evolved to manufacture happiness

And so it will continue, through terrible Linkin Park albums and beyond.

EDIT: I don't mean the album is terrible, I'm just saying if it 'were' we'd get over it lol

The single will premiere at 8AM CST worldwide. So 6AM PST, 9AM EST, etc.

What a weird title for an album... Maybe a good (single)track is also called 'living things', then I can understand this choice a little bit more. But I don't think so.
Whatever, it's only an album title. What counts is the music.

 

I guess I'm among the rare ones who love(d) the title great news, better blog post. Now I'm getting pumped.

Never judge a book by its cover. The same way, don't judge this album by it's title. For all we know, this is probably going to be their best album yet.

 

It's not exactly the same thing... a book has a title too, and a CD has a cover as well. A title should have a minimum of importance in my opinion. I really believe they should have self named it, after that quote Joe evidenced (which sticked in me too after reading the post) nothing would have fit better than "Linkin Park": the album that represents the hybrid theory of the six members, the whole group... just Linkin Park.

 

I like Mike's honesty about the past and how they felt some regret over some of their past decision and how they marketed themselves. They were young. This blog post makes me very excited about the album. Can't wait to hear the finished product.
