Then this pre-order isn't for you.

Obviously the pre-order has extra stuff to entice people with but if they wanted everyone in the world to pre-order it then they would've been giving away Ferraris and cocaine :D

I pre order from lp.com to support the band. Besides that, I can't complain about a midnight download link, as well as possibly getting songs pre-released (Wretches and Kings was an ATS pre release).

FYI, I read a comment earlier in this thread I think where people said it's 19.99 because LP are selling it directly. Not true. It's still being distributed through Warner. Yes you're buying it from the website, but WBR always gets paid, regardless of where you're getting the album from. Even on LPU music.

So yes you're cutting out some of the middle men (iTunes/Amazon etc) by buying straight from LP.com which means it's a lot better than buying it from other places, but WBR are still getting paid the same cut at the end of the day.

This might be a dumb question but, If i want the PHYSICAL CD, not a digital one, I pick "Living Things CD" instead of living things digital?

I've asked this before but got no answer so I'll do it again.
According to Warner Europe or whatever it is, that LPU bundle includes the LPU11 and they are asking for 38 euros. So will the LPU bundle on lp.com includes the LPU CD?

Must have been, but even at that the albums don't cost around 17 euros (equivalent of 20 dollars and once again not counting the shipping). You'd think the price would be lower of the middle man is cut out.

I know this is mostly crying about LP not wanting to get more money out of us through special editions, but this album cycle seems to be very underwhelming thanks to decisions like these.

    No, you pay straight-up online.

And, then, you play the waiting game. ;)

good, someone finally pointed out this simple fact . People who think LP will receive hundred of thousands for their website pre-sale deal are a little bit naive.

    Hersteller: manufacturer
    Produzent: Producer
    Künstler: artist
    Handel: market / commerce
    Vertrieb: distribution
    GEMA something like ASCAP
    Umsatzsteuer: vat

Maybe some of you find an overview specifically for the US.

Just because there isn't a DVD doesn't mean we wont get a "making of" video. Maybe they are just cutting back on costs, and plan to upload it to Hulu like they did with Meeting of ATS. I don't need a physical copy of it, I just want to see it.

I know you're just speculating based on what they did with "A Thousand Suns" but, if I didn't have the DVD then, I wouldn't have been able to watch that documentary myself; Hulu isn't available where I am. :/
