so what, will we wait till he has 3000 followers

 

Considering everyone from the band are saying that the prize is indeed worth the wait, I can't really think of anything other than a new track.

BUT, my REAL dream for this prize would be that the band digitally releases Living Things to everyone that has preordered several weeks in advance of June 26th. After all, we've already had confirmation that the album was completely finished last week didn't we? I like to think that the album release date was put at a very comfortable and realistic timeframe so that the band wasn't pressured into finishing the album in time like with A Thousand Suns. Now that it's all done, and the band seems extremely excited for fan feedback of the new material, I could see the slimmest possibility that they'd push the digital release date forward.

Of course, it's pretty foolish speculation on my part. But who wouldn't love for Living Things to release early?

If we can't get 3000 people to follow him, we won't be able to get enough people to trend #youbetterhearme. We just need people to continue retweeting. We'll get there.

 

Unfortunately, this is really "peak time" for the majority of the world. In Europe it's already evening (8 PM in CET) and the fanbase there is going to go dormant in the next couple hours. The Americas have a few more hours, and we can't expect anything from Eastern Asia and Australia for another few hours because they're all asleep.
