LIVING THINGS Track Times Revealed!

Victimized only 1:46 well that sucks, it feels like this album is gonna be shorter than HT and Meteora.
Atleast there's no fillers/interludes and CRICKETS.

 

In the interview they said it was too repetitive at that length so they trimmed it a bit (probably down to the 4:58 mark). Then they probably thought the beginning was better suited as an interlude and messed with it a little to make it a separate track.

I wonder if UNTIL IT BREAKS flows into TINFOIL which flows into POWERLESS, that'd be cool.

If this is real, I am disappointed.

 

Its coming on June 22nd here in Europe, or at least in Holland(not sure for the other country's)

 

I confess I was relieved seeing these songs lasting less than 2 minutes. Still, do not understand why not put a little more of instrumental, few seconds more, I don't know. It will be very weird the band have a song lasting less than an interlude of themselves. (I don't consider as song any track with duration less than 2:02 min, 1 second longer than The Requiem, but guess I'll have to make exceptions, for Victimized and maybe for SMSTYM )
Still, i'm waiting for 06/22 !

 

I prefer an album with shorter tracks over an album with long songs that's released later. It would be so amazing to have this type of album every 1,5/2 years! LIES GREED MISERY is pretty short, but it feels right that way, just like Faint. That VICTIMIZED is so short surprised me as well, but it's hard to make a statement about that without having heard the song. Maybe it's so awful that eventually we'll be happy it's that short

I'm pretty cool with the track times even though I'm STILL longing for LP to do another 6+ min song again. VICTIMIZED sounds like it could be the next A.06...

ON TOPIC THOUGH,
I'm happy with all these lengths - 3-4 minutes is plenty of time to get a lot of cool sounds in, and Linkin Park has yet to disappoint with 3.5 ("Until It Breaks" verse)/12 songs.

 

Man, you guys need to just chill about the the damn track lengths. Im sure when the album comes out, you're gonna forget about the times when you're listening to it. We're getting a freaking new album guys, be excited!

 

We still have a half an hour of music to listen to. So I'm not worried at all.

What happens when iTunes releases their 1min 30sec previews? We are basically going to get the whole of Victimized and Tinfoil from them hahahaha XD

However, change in topic, what about Powerless? That's what I'm most excited for! Closing a firecracker album, song should be really powerful! Hopefully....
