06/10/12 - Moscow, Russia - Maxidrom Festival

Today Linkin Park will be in Moscow, Russia where they will headline the Maxidrom Festival. This show will mark the band's third appearance in Moscow. Many fans may recall that Moscow was where the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Premiere Show was held last year at Red Square. A recording of this show was made available for free via the Linkin Park Trading Card game. The band also played in Moscow in 2007.

Last night, the band played another thrilling show in Warsaw, Poland, which featured the main festival set which features A Place for My Head as the opener and One Step Closer as the closer. The set made its debut at the Rock in Rio show in Lisboa, Portugal on May 26th and has been performed at every festival on this European tour leg except for the show in Nickelsdorf, Austria which saw an abbreviated setlist due to severe weather. Given that tonight's show is another festival, it's likely that we'll see the main festival set again, but nothing is for certain.

After this show, Linkin Park will head on over to Odessa, Ukraine to play at the Rock Port Festival. Following that performance, the band will travel back to Russia to play their last show of this current European tour leg in St. Petersburg. As this tour leg comes to a close, it's safe to say that this leg has been a big success for the band based on positive reactions from fans all around the world.

Hi hi everyone!!amazing show tonight!!despite the fact it was their 3 show in a row,they performed outstanding!Crowd was awesome !!We performed 3 flashmobs:1)sheets of papers saying "Chester is sex,Mike is sex..."They laughed outloud on stage,2)thousand of yellow balloons during the catalyst!(to thank guys for Ats album),3)during the BURN IT DOWN we were holding red and yellow things(don't know how to describe them)) and it was like fire over tushino airfield))at first it was pouring hard and rain spoiled my Lpa t shirt((then I lost my phone but everything was compensated by amazing gig !!crowd went absolutely crazy on LIES GREED MISERY!!will write more tomorrow btw follow me on twitter to get photos and videos!!@max_vlasov
