Ugh, they had a bit of a metal lineup last couple years so cue the Metalhead douchebags with the 'hurr durr why lp!?' comments. Oh well, I'm still gonna go and rock the fuck out. But I hope they do a separate sideshow though

Metallica is really the only metal one there... it's a very alternative/mainstream pop punk lineup

of mice and men, miss may I, Sleeping With Sirens, Cancer Bats, Woe Is Me, Memphis May Fire!

and those are just the ones I know of. they are "hardcore music" which comes back to the origin of "metal" music, and some people use the general term metal for bands like this. Sure there is majority of more punk and alternative bands but there are some metal bands as well.

Wow, Periphery, Ghost, and Tomahawk on the same bill as LP!? That's awesome! I wish America could get some decent festivals like this every once in a while because LP would never take bands like these out on tour.

A Perfect Circle AND Linkin Park. Together. Now I died of unhappiness. Never going to happen again, especially in a place I can go, like Brazil.

    Anthrax
    Dragonforce
    Ghost
    Kingdom of Sorrow
    Cancer Bats
    Madball
    Vision of Disorder
    Periphery
    Shai Hulud
    Six Feet Under
    Red Fang

A few of these are hardcore bands but to most people who don't know any better it's all "metal, screamy, loud" music to them.
Not to mention a couple arguably metal bands that I didn't even bother listing :p

Chester said this in an interview about this festival:

“‘Burn It Down’, ‘Lost In The Echo’, ‘In My Remains’, ‘Victimized’, ‘Lies Greed Misery’ are all going to be part of our set going forward,” he said. “At that point maybe ‘Powerless’ will be getting worked in there, so a lot of the new record is going to be incorporated into our new set, as well as a lot of the songs that people really want to hear. And also some songs that we’ve put on the backburner for a while, so hopefully a lot of a our fans that came to our last show will get something that they didn’t really get before.”

I'm liking the sound of that. I can't wait to hear how Victimized delivers live. Going to be killer!

    Fuck'n THIS.

    Cool.

    Edit :
But these Living Things songs... Instead of Burn It Down, In My Remains, Lies Greed Misery I would rather hear the other stuff like Until It Breaks/Tinfoil/Powerless, Castle Of Glass, maybe Roads Untraveled. But it was clear they were gonna play Burn It Down (as a single)...

    :D

Maybe I can go to 3 LP shows this tour, depending on the number of side shows.
