Roads Untraveled would like to disagree there.

Also to answer the OP, LGM easily wins. Mike's verses are just terrible both lyrically and with regards to their flow in W&K.

Seriously, musically, Wretches and Kings is crap and boring. Lyrically, meh, it used to be one of my favourites, but now it's like whatever. If I had to compare, I would choose Lies Greed Misery, both musically and lyrically it's better then Wretches and Kings any day.

Wretches And Kings - sick beat, interesting lyrics, great structure, killer outro
    Lies Greed Misery - nothing

On second thought, I'll go with Lies Greed Misery, only because it actually sounds good live. Wretches and Kings was usually a train wreck when they attempted it.

Dude... I've seen W&K live and it was the highlight of that show (along with WTCFM)

Wretches and Kings, for sure. It has some of Mike's best rapping on it, and the chorus is badass too. I always thought the last quarter of the song could've been much stronger, but overall it's solid.

On the other hand, LGM is a quick, sometimes fun-to-listen-to song that I enjoy, but not a huge standout.

    W&K wins this.

If Mike screwing up the lyrics and Chester botching the timing on the pad samples left and right is your idea of a "highlight..."

Sorry, but I've seriously never heard a performance of Wretches and Kings that didn't sound sloppy. There's probably a good reason they dropped it well before the conclusion of the ATS touring cycle.

W&K just because ATS is my favorite album.
But IMO LGM is one of the best energetic songs from LT and I like it very much too

LGM! but WaK is my 2nd favorite off of ATS

EDIT: seems like I'm, the only one who likes WaK this much. Lol.

W&K is just damn more interesting to my hears than LGM. not that the latter is bad by any means, but its just not as intense, in your face, or even as dark. LGM certainly has a more poppier edge than W&K has despite the awesome scream by Chester in the bridge/outro. W&K has more going for it with its glitched up guitar parts, heavy bass. Plus I love the Mario Savio speech (obviously) which really gives the song an even more original stance IMO.

Mike messed up one line and Chester was just a bit off, but they make mistakes all the time...

W&K has always been my favorite ATS track, and beats LGM for me. By quite a bit.
