Without a doubt, Lockjaw is miles better but the two are different and shouldn't be compared. This demo was made with a $10 program and probably nothing else but Mike's laptop. Lockjaw was made with a $200+ program and real instruments (live guitars, drums, etc).

Well, I said it was made in one day because I though I saw it, but I haven't got any proof eventually  Mike just says he decided to do something "this week". I don't imagine him working a lot on this though.

    True :)

I'm loving the new song, it's like an electronic version of Roads Untraveled.

it feels like Lost in the Echo and Roads Untraveled had a child, that didn't equal either of it's parents. Although that's what to expect from a quick demo.

It's really cool what Mike can come up with off the top of his head. It's got a lot of similar chords as Roads Untraveled, but I like it a lot.

Not a terrible song, has a good vibe to it and goes right along with Living Things..

People nitpick on this as if it had took them weeks to make it. It's something made in a day, and I even doubt it took Mike many hours to make it.

Mike's creativity and efficiency when making these demos amazes me. Truly a master of his craft.

It's not bad considering it was only made within a short amount of time, but it's not really something I'm about to put on repeat.

I like it. A lot. And yeah, it sounds like LITE, RU and BID put together.

    Awesome. :awesome:

I thought I was listening to a ROADS UNTRAVELED remix at first. The lead synth melody reminds me of it

Ok, not bad for a little demo which shows the capabilities of this cheap piece of software.

It does make me laugh when people say things like "truly a master of his craft" about these things, though...

Mike proved that he can do a song in 1 day, and it's better than Meteora.

Why? Because he made a song in probably a handful of hours (considering the shows they've played and the practice for it) that sounds like it could be a finalized instrumental on LIVING THINGS? That's pretty amazing, if you ask me, considering he also did it entirely on this $10 software.

I see this more as a demo of what the software is capable of rather new music from LP. It's enjoyable, but not memorable really, and that's okay.
